Thanks to Ashley, Emily, Erin, and Lynea for representing the Roberts Lab at the State of the Sciences Takeover at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences!
Our collaboration with a number of NC State folks empirically compares ddRADseq results from a variety of species using shared protocols - should be a great resource for people planning RADseq experiments in non-model organisms!
Burford Reiskind MO, Coyle K, Daniels HV, Labadie P, Reiskind MH, Roberts NB, Roberts RB, Vargo EL, and Schaff J. 2016. Development of a universal double-digest RAD sequencing approach for a group of non-model, ecologically and economically important insect and fish taxa. Molecular Ecology Resources.
The Roberts Lab had a great time presenting Fish Face Frenzy!, our interactive exhibit for Darwin Day festivities at the museum. We appreciate everyone who stopped by to color fish for our virtual lake, and hopefully learned a bit about dietary adaptation along the way. Special thanks to Ashley, Mandy, Erin, Kaitlyn, Emily, and Lynea for developing and running the exhibit!
